She has performed live for many years, has fronted several bands and has done recording and session work. She loves nothing more than being able to perform popular cover tunes that get people smiling and singing along and prides herself on being able to sing relatively any song requested! She has a heart for people and for ensuring they feel warmed, welcomed and included in each of her performances.
SEDLEY JENSEN, Electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and vocals. Sedley started taking guitar lessons at a young age. But after 3 lessons he quit because it was just too hard. A few years later (when he was in high school) he thought he would give it another try. But this time, instead of taking lessons, he decided he would teach himself. He kept up with it and by the time he was a senior his band Night Shift played and won the annual Battle of the Bands. This was back in the 70’s so Sedley has been playing classic rock long before it was ever called “classic”. Since then, he has been in a number of different cover bands playing hundreds of gigs throughout the Southern California area. Some of these bands include Four Wheel Drive, First Class, Red Ball Jets, Aftershox, and Trainwreck. After meeting up with Liz Randall and recruiting his longtime friend and bandmate Tommy Smyth, together they formed the band, Wheelhouse. Although Wheelhouse started off as an acoustic band, the band has since switched gears and is now performing songs designed to get people up and dancing. So you will see Sedley playing mostly electric guitar these days!
TOMMY SMYTH, Keyboard, Vocals. Tommy started singing in church at the age of 3. Later, with his sister and brothers, He played banjo, uke and harmonized as they sang songs from the turn of the 19/20th century. Then in junior high school he quit playing the violin and focused on singing with the choir in middle school. After moving with his family and finding friends who played guitar and sang Beatles songs, he joined a Crosby Stills and Nash-like singing group during high school. Also while he was 15 he sat down with a piano chord book that his sister’s piano teacher had given him and learned the Beatles song Golden Slumbers on the piano. He played that one and others all day and learned to play the piano by ear; it was like an overnight epiphany. Soon after that he got a Wurlitzer combo organ and began playing in his first rock ‘n’ roll band. Through the years Tommy has played with several different bands as a guitarist, bassist and keyboardist. He has written many songs and jingles while arranging music and producing songs for other people and groups.
